So having fallen in love with Excel pretty quickly, I decided to share with you some items from their current collections which I think are summer must-haves. Disclaimer: I do not take any responsibility for the effect this blog post will have on your bank balance!
Oh, and one more thing. All of the following items are in the sale. You're welcome!
1. Adria Cork Wedge Platform Shoe in Navy. Michael Kors. Were £130, Now £104.
I'm not going to bore you by going on yet again about how I love navy... But I will say that wedge + cork + platform + NAVY = perfect summer combination. I challenge you to find one outfit that these beauties wouldn't go with; would they go with shorts? Yep. Floaty skirts? Of course. Summer dresses? Well, obviously! Go on, treat yourself to a pair of shoes which you will love and wear again and again. And the best part? They're in the sale.
2. Jewelled Neck Blouse in Taupe. Olive Clothing. Was £69, Now £34.50
I have been looking for a blouse with jewel detail for ages; I know there are lots on the high street at the moment, but I'm quite fussy! I think some of them can look a bit cheap if they use big plastic stones or they're not well finished. I love this blouse because the detail looks sophisticated and glamourous at the same time.
3. Floro Oil Painting Evening Clutch Bag in Nude. Ted Baker. Was £69, Now £55.20.
Oooooh I love this clutch bag! You can always rely on Ted Baker for pretty accessories, and this one is gorgeous. Just picture it with your favourite LWD (little white dress)... And then you can team it with your blue, orange, yellow, green, pink, nude or red courts - whichever applies to you! It's a bag that's guaranteed to draw gasps from your friends (Tip - keep an eye on this bag at all times, or it will go astray)
This clutch also ticks the 'useful' box, as it has an inside zip pocket as well as card compartments.
So there you have it; Excel clothing. Are you a fan? Have you shopped at Excel before? What do you think of my summer picks? Tweet me your thoughts at @secretmaggiemay.
