Whoever you're with and wherever you are this Valentine's Day, I hope you have a cracking one. Following on from last year's popular post, here is a lovely selection of items which are guaranteed to put a smile on your Valentine's face!
Love Potions - Hotel Chocolat, £10
Mr Maggie May will tell you how addicted I am to Hotel Chocolat... And with good reason! Their chocolates are absolutely amazing in quality, and this collection of Blood Orange Bellinis, Champagne Cocktails, Passion Berry Margaritas and Golden Martini Kisses sounds too good to be true.
The Lizzie Bouquet - Bloom&Wild, £26
I first came across Bloom&Wild when my friend sent me one of their bouquets for my birthday last year; their letterbox flowers are such a fantastic idea, and are a lovely surprise to find on your doorstep! Each of the flowers are carefully packaged and wrapped up in a box which fits through most letterboxes - all your recipient has to do is arrange the flowers using the instructions provided. The Lizzie is made up of blush roses, cream lisianthus, pale pink alstroemerias and fragrant eucalyptus - a gorgeous way to show someone how much they mean to you.
Fern Red Suede Courts - L.K. Bennett, £195
Aren't these just beautiful? I think we should all buy ourselves a Valentine's gift this year, and it should be a pair of these. Whether you wear them to smarten up jeans and a woolly jumper, to add a pop of colour to your work outfit, or to finish off your date night outfit with a bang, these are an excellent investment for everyone's wardrobe.
The Notebook DVD - Amazon, £3.66
I don't need to say anything about this one. Perfect Valentine's night in: The Notebook, a big bowl of popcorn, a tub of Ben & Jerry's (Chocolate Fudge Brownie, obviously), and the biggest box of tissues you can find. Enjoy.
Hearts Adjustable Apron - Cath Kidston, £20
For the woman who bakes! This a gorgeous little apron which all GBBO fans would undoubtedly love to have in their possession - and with the cute heart print, you're giving a nice nod to the 14th February. You also know it's going to be of an excellent quality being from Cath Kidston!
Rose Garden Scented Floral Pink Potted Candle - St Eval Candle Company, £11.40
Based in Cornwall, the St Eval Candle Company know how to produce a lovely candle - and this is one of them! With its pretty floral design, and the sumptuous scent of roses {my absolute favourite} this is a gift which will last quite a bit longer than a box of chocolates or flowers.
Pure Silk Wrap with French Designed Rose Lace - Rosie for Autograph at M&S, £79
As the product description for this beautiful wrap says, pure silk is the ultimate in luxury. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has designed a dressing gown with a flattering cut and delicate frill on the sleeves which is bound to be a hit with anyone who deserves to be spoilt. The chemise Rosie wears in the picture is also available to complete the set.
Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Bath & Shower Gel - Molton Brown London, £18
Sticking with the rose theme (call me traditional!) this bath and shower gel from Molton Brown is a lovely little treat for the women in your life. With the surprise addition of rhubarb, and the gorgeous packaging, why not stock up on these for your closest friends? They'll love you forever!
Love intarsia cashmere sweater - Chinti and Parker at Net-a-Porter, £360
Nothing says spoilt like cashmere, and with 'Love' stamped on the front, this is the perfect way of letting someone know that they mean a lot to you! The soft oatmeal cashmere is just perfect for this time of year; layer it up with a plain white shirt underneath, or on its own for stylish and comfortable bliss.
'I Love You More Than Gin' card - Paper Plane at Notonthehighstreet.com, £2.75
If you're willing to send this to your partner, then you know it's the real deal.
